What school?

RM

Assure her that’s not going to happen. There’s no reason for it and schools control their own bell schedule.

Thanks.

The rumors going around amongst the students is that now the other schools can’t use the same test because some schools have already taken it and others did not.

And so, MCPS will make all the schools take it again.

I do hope you’re right and the kids don’t have to take it again!

Doesn't make any sense because the test is digital and College Board will release another version.

Why would she think that? She seems to be misinformed.
If they completed it without issue, it's a huge waste of time to do it again.

If that is true, how would that affect National Merit? Which one would count?

Good practice for the SAT. Or something.

That would suck. Which makes the schools that decided to stop the test even if they weren't having issues very prescient.

Yeah, Kennedy parent here as well.

Let's just say that the communication from the school is not as great as it could be!

I get that this is a new Principal and there is a learning curve, but...

I'm glad at least my kid is relatively good at sharing info with me. But honestly, the communication with the students isn't all that great either.

Einstein said their makeup date would be October 25, but I don’t know if other MCPS schools are taking it on the same date. My understanding was that CB would let schools/systems arrange their own makeup dates within a certain window.

You’ll find out when everyone else does.

When is MCPS going to hold a PSA re-take? My kid is at Wheaton. His classroom was able to get the exam working, but the school made them stop taking it and then he spent all day in useless classes because the teachers hadn't planned for class.
