I think I have $24 in my wallet. I mostly only pay cash to get a roll of quarters for laundry, and at the farmer's market.

We keep $1k in actual cash, $30-50k in a high yield savings acct. Right now we have $500k in money markets and rolling treasuries because we are about to do a renovation.

I usually try to keep $1k in the house, just in case.

Generally have between $30-40k in checking/savings.

I almost never carry cash. DH likes to have at least $20 in his wallet at all times.

I rarely have cash on hand. $3-5k in my checking account.

We currently have $54k in cash, $89k in a HYSA, and $21k in I-bonds. This equates to 18 months of normal spending, but we plan to use about $45k on a car next year.

I personally have about 3 months of expenses - and not having to cut back on anything. We could probably stretch it farther if we were cutting back on things.

DH probably has more. I am in charge of the spending accounts and he's in charge of the savings accounts.

Not much. Maybe $10k? Just enough liquidity for cash-flow purposes.

Emergency funds are for the poor. I have investments of various kinds and credit lines I could draw on in an emergency.

220k in various saving accounts making between 4.3 to 4.7%. Another 180k in tbills making slightly over 5% and about 90k in ibonds
