My 52 year old never married FWB likes to travel and did not want kids.

They don’t want to stop having sex. It’s why I’ve remained single since divorce.

Cheap, not committal, ego centric, don’t want to take care of dogs, partners (change jobs internationally and just leave partners there); low libido (yes, low as men who are high L want to marry yo have daily access to sex - most even super attractive 40-50s single men dating have less sex vs married). These are my observations of the dating types

They don’t want kids.

This. I’m a woman and I would be much happier if I had never gotten married. If I was a man, I wouldn’t have felt that much pressure and I would’ve stayed single and it would’ve been an easier for society to accept that.

My coworker is a serial monogamist.

I know a guy who is really nice and very generous but he lacks a filter. You state an opinion and he will say “Really?”. I can’t imagine dating someone like that. I have tons of examples of lacking a filter but I will leave it at that.

How old are you op? You remind me of my mom who has issues with believing a single man in his 40s is not in dire need of a wife. I think that ship has sailed, they are set in their ways and even married people prove, marriage is not good for everyone.

I can think of plenty of reasons a person who is attractive and successful would stay single.

College guys from competitive colleges and strong family backgrounds with two parents who were in fraternities and now have great jobs but remained single. To each their own, but it seems weird that by 50 they haven't had the interest to settle down.

The people I'm curious about are mostly extraverts.

Introvert and doesn't want company.

Are these men just loving the single life, gay, or are too picky? Women have each other to lean on. I find men who are by themselves their whole life a little odd because they don't have the same support system a woman has other than at work.
