I live on a busy but narrow, winding and hilly road. When groups of bikers are on the road it’s insane because it’s a no passing road and they ride two abreast so there is no way to pass. The road is in crappy condition too and dangerous for bikers. We have great paved bike paths all around us.

Yet cars driving too slow on ANY road (1/2/3 lanes) can get ticketed.

Driving home down Old Dominion Road around 5:30pm yesterday and a single cyclist who couldn't do a decent speed had a line of probably 25-30 cars backed up behind it because the traffic on the opposing side was too heavy to allow the vehicles behind the cyclist to pass safely.

This is why many people hate cyclists. One person caused 50+ other people (because many cars had multiple passengers) time and headache. And the fact that cyclists don't give a $#!, because its ALL about them, is why people hate them.

Drivers are jerks and a menace. I was crossing the street with the green and a guy turned his car into me making a right turn in red. He wasn’t even looking for pedestrians in a crosswalk. Another time I was crossing and a guy whipped really got through the intersection without even slowing down.drivers need to slow down, observe the posted speed limit, get off their phones and more attentive. Our transportation system needs to start deemphasizing cars and building staggers to protect non-motorists.

Good luck enforcing that y'all If you are comfortable doing this down busy one-lane roads you are risking your life around here.
