NP who also wears oxfords with straight leg pants. Fwiw I am tall and have kind of an Annie Hall vibe, but I agree with PP that you can wear with more feminine tops/accessories.

I'm not OP but this combo would not look great on me. Without a bit of a heel at least the pants just don't fall nicely to look polished and professional.I do wear this on weekends but doesn't work for me in the office. That's the problem.

Can’t you just hem them? How can you even tell if there’s a heel or not?

I love aquatalia’s low boots but wish they weren’t so expensive. In lieu of that, any chelsea boot

No get pants that cover the top of the boot. Showing a couple inches of ankle is very trendy now but I think a little odd for a lot of workplaces and not particularly practical for cold days. Depending on how tall you are some of the longer ankle length pants do come over the top of the boot. Or just buy pants with a normal inseam.

OP here. What style pants do you pair with these boots? The photos all show tapered pants, mostly with ankle showing. I'm always so cold that I want to wear high socks. Would I wear them with boot cut pants? Help!

I like jodhpur boots /Chelsea boots — and have for years.
I really like the boots at Thursday Boot Company. I like the Duchess and Legend styles, but they have several good options.

Hello! I used to wear boot cut suit pants and heeled boots like these: https://www.aerosoles.com/collections/boots-booties/products/cinnamon-black?_pos=1&_fid=c9ddbdad1&_ss=c&variant=28762322665556?variant=28762322665556 (Cinnamon ankle boot from Aerosoles).

As I've gotten more lazy and my workplace is more casual, I'm looking for a new pants and boots combo, but without the high heel. One requirement: I'm always cold, so I want to wear socks--i.e. no ankle length pants and flats.

Any suggestions for work pants and shoes/boots that are comfy and look good together. Links/photos are appreciated! The workplace is business casual these days.
