I wouldn’t eat it, but not because it’s too ok. If it’s tastes fine; it’s fine, if you said it’s chalky and off. Who cares why?

Oats don’t get stale that fast. The taste is most likely from it being sprouted. Someone gifted us a huge bag of sprouted oats and I was the only one who ate it. The taste made the rest of my family gag.

Bought a bag of sprouted oats from Costco made some for breakfast today but realized it expired January 2023. I don't see any mold or bugs but it tastes chalky and off

DH thinks it's fine and the taste is from it being sprouted vs reg quaker

Would you still eat it?
