Sorry, I don’t equate Thanksgiving break as the same thing as a fall break. Some colleges have a real fall break in October, coinciding with Columbus Day. I was curious if VCU had that but I guess they don’t.
Yes, quite a few colleges have a fall break in October, although they don't all coincide with Columbus Day (UVA had their "fall reading days" from Sept. 30 - Oct. 3). But the authoritative VCU academic calendar denotes the break in November as "fall break," not Thanksgiving break, and makes clear there is no time off in October.

It would seem there is no other fall break, just a Thanksgiving/Fall break.

PP, agreed it is a quick search, but keep in mind in some families this might be the first kid going to college and they were possibly just seeking to make sure they got it right.
