It got to the point where I had to do intermittently fasting and limit my calories to 1,300/day to stay 145 lbs. I’m a few years away from retirement and was super anxious about how to maintain this requirement. I’m on a low dose of Ozempic which helps me stay where I am weight wise and my anxiety reduced tremendously. I might even be able to stay past 20 years. I have to pay out of pocket and it cost me $1,000 for the Ozempic pen that lasts me 2 months. It is expensive but I love my job, I have great benefits and now my mental health has improved not freaked out about getting weighed and not knowing what they will do when my weight is above the limit.

really.....this is interesting.
PP here. It is-it's hard to explain. I defenitely still desire to eat, it's NOT a suppressant for me, but I want to eat a normal, healthy portion meal. I don't want to shove food in my mouth (I tended to eat fast always) and I don't think about what I'm going to eat next in an excited way. Like, I'm not thinking 'oooooh we're having PIZZA!!!!tonight and ICE CREAM' It's more like, I'll calmly eat one slice of pizza.
I guess I never realized the level of anxiety I had around food.
