I’m on keto. I occasionally have a small serving of strawberries or blackberries or raspberries. Maybe once a week. That doesn’t kick me out of ketosis.

But yeah—it’s tough.

Weight will come back. So just stop and eat sensibly. Lowish carb, cut out white flour, refined sugars. Having an apple is fine- please for the love, eat a piece of fruit

Quit keto. Start counting calories. I’ve done keto 3 times so far and always lost weight but it came back fairly quickly. I can’t imagine being on keto for ever. The same will happen to you. Sooner or later. Two years ago I started making better choices, counted calories at first. Lost about 40lbs and it hasn’t came back. I do eat candy, drink soda, eat out. I just have to control how much is too much….

Are you allowed root vegetables? A small serving of roasted carrots or sweet potatoes using coconut oil to roast can be helpful for sweet cravings.

But keto was awful for me. I got so constipated. Just know it's not for everyone.

Unless you really intend to do this forever, maybe it isn’t a good idea. Law carb is good, but keto is very extreme. Have you consulted a dietician? I’m working with one and losing weight on 50-100g of carbs a day. And feel so much more energetic than when I was doing keto.

Fat is the answer. Get a fatty steak. And have it with some green vegetables like green beans, spinach, or broccoli - and put some butter on those.

Stay super hydrated with Gatorade zero, Snapple zero, plain water, fizzy water etc.

Chew sugar free gum

Try some low carb treats, atkins and others have some pretty delicious very low carb offerings.

Push through and it will get better!!!

Are you allowed no-carb sweets or is the point to break the sugar addicted entirely? I’m not great with diets and haven’t make it more than a couple of days without sugary/sugary tasting things. But i can decently avoid sweets if i have like crystal light or something. Is that even allowed?

The first week is hard. It takes about 2 week to get over those sugar cravings. You can do it!

Go for a walk. Get out of the kitchen. Walk away from the bad food food. Get some pork rinds. You need a snack. Celery with laughing cow cheese.

Try putting a pinch of Himalayan salt under your tongue. It helped curb my cravings.

I am on Day 3 of going low carb (no fruit allowed). I am having such bad carb cravings!!! For people who have done this—what can I do?
I heard that the cravings get much better after a week but Im worried I won’t make it. Lots of social stuff this weekend, ugh.

I need to make a lifestyle change as Im pre-diabetic and strong fam history of diabetes. And I have trouble with sugar in moderation
