If your kid has to prep for this SOL they should not be in Alg 1 in 7th grade - is my two cents.

It is really not hard for students who are solid with skills, and are good test-takers. Please don’t stress your kid about it.

They should be far easier. It is bare minimum competency for grade level math. In class in an advanced program, teachers go much deeper.
