It isn’t just the Murdoch companies. It’s the entire right-wing media conspiracy Hillary spoke accurately about back in the 1990s.

It’s actually amazing how predictable it is. What wedge issues are they going to blow out of proportion and then cry bias that the professional news media isn’t following suit?

It’s a little like the Daily Wire’s bizarre fascination with culture war stories about Northern Virginia. The right wing media complex is hell-bent on disinformation

Do you mean the right wing conspiracy of which HRC spoke when Bill was denying "his contacts" with Monica Lewinsky?

DC residents have only themselves to blame.

Neither DC crime, nor the border, nor inflation are real issues.

The story says one issue specific to DC is that our attorney general is elected, not appointed, and that our attorney general refuses to prosecute the vast majority of arrests made by the cops

Who publishes the facts in a story is irrelevant. https://www.wsj.com/us-news/violent-crime-is-surging-in-d-c-this-year-we-just-stood-there-and-screamed-380f3c69

Perps could become violent if stores try to stop retail theft. If stores go to containment methods who stops violence against shoppers outside the store? Correlation between massive retail theft now PC referred to as shrinkage and DC regs relaxing on street vendors. https://nextcity.org/features/washington-dc-street-vendor-regulations-reforms

A WSJ comment was about weed. Got off a metro and then walked through so many getting high that 10 minutes later smebody asked me if I had been smoking-"please don't on our premises".

And I bet you are dismissing the truth of the problem because you don't like the messenger.
Says more about your bias than theirs.

Notes DC is a huge outlier compared to other big cities

“The district has had 216 homicides this year, 38 percent more than at this point in 2022”

“By contrast, killings are down this year in big cities from coast to coast: by 24 percent in Los Angeles, 19 percent in Houston, 18 percent in Philadelphia, 12 percent in Chicago and 11 percent in New York City.”

Owners of Right Proper tell WSJ theyre leaving Shaw because the crime is out of hand
