You mean like Josh Lopez, or were you referring to some other kind of mayhem?

This right here. The usual suspects need to be off the streets and away from kids they can corrupt.

Or rather I should said not all out of compliant commit horrific crimes, but those who commit horrific crimes often turn out to be out of compliant. Why would the judge release someone who didn't comply with the terms?

Today Mayor Muriel Bowser held a press conference to discuss Operation Trident, a multi-agency effort to conduct arrests. I think a better name would have been Operation Casablanca, because they literally arrested the usual suspects. The operation was aimed at violent offenders, most of whom had open warrants and most of whom were on pretrial release or probation and had fallen out of compliance.

Those arrested will be brought before judges who will decide their fate. I will not be surprised if most of them are re-released and told to stay in compliance with the terms of their release from now on.

The operation also resulted in the recovery of three firearms.

Not all who commit horrific crimes are out of compliance, but I'm shocked by the commonality of those who do commit horrific crimes often being so. Best if these folks are held. They had their shot.
