Contrarian here: because of the way the break in, they actually lasted a long time for my DD when she was a toddler. The shearling packs down and the suede stretches, so we got a season more of wear than expected.

She does not wear them in snow or wet- we’re in a cold dry climate. I wouldn’t get them for snowy weather.

Get a full size up and they will still be snug.

They run slightly big in my experience, but very comfortable, I size up and have no problem with them I grew up in a cold country wearing shearling, I love it for my child too - it's hygienic and warm. Any synthetic lining would result in sweaty stinky feet.

Literally just ordered some - ordered the same size as she currently wears in ten littles - they are maybe a half size smaller, but very close to TTS. Also, kid loves them!

Really non-responsive to OP's question, but I agree. My elementary school kid destroys her Uggs, and I can imagine a toddler would trash them in a week. I see toddler size Bearpaw or other real leather and fur boots at Marshalls and TJ Maxx all of the time, but unfortunately my kid is brand specific already and wants the real deal. (Though wears them for two winters nonstop, so better value than a toddler that will outgrow them quickly.)

For my big kid, they seem to run true to size, but the way they fit you can size up more than in other shoes. My Uggs are a size too large and I've never noticed them feeling too big.

The great thing about fake uggs too is since they’re so inexpensive you can get multiple pairs in multiple colors.

Ordering ugg boots for my turning 2yo child. They are growing into a size 5.5 shoe in stride rite. Does anyone know if ugg boots run big, small etc? Ugg doesn’t have half sizes.
