take a sea plane trip to the dry tortugas national park. it was $$ but one of my all time favorite activities.

I LOVED it there during Christmas time, water was warm enough to snorkel. Also agree, didn’t feel overcrowded, but it was full.

In 2019, we went the day after Christmas and stayed through New Year's. We had a great time. Got into restaurants and tours. It didn't feel over-crowded, and the weather was beautiful.
