Men change when their P is no longer working that well. A guy I know had 3 wives cheated on all of them. He stopped on wife #4 who was 30 years younger (he married her when he was 65)

OP, there is now real way to know if the serial cheater has not cheated on the current s/o. I agree with PPs.. serial cheaters don't change at heart. A one time thing due to personal issues, marital conflict, I can understand, but a serial cheater is just that.. serial cheater. This is not some romance novel where the serial cheater finally finds "the one" and stops cheating all of a sudden.

No, people at their very core do not change. They may work hard and want to change but under certain circumstances they will eventually react as they have in the past.

I agree with all this and I still would not marry a former serial cheater because I think he'd probably cheat on me like he did everyone else. I believe in redemption but I'm not in charge of being anyone's redemption. They can go find a woman who was a serial cheater and they can redeem themselves together.

Yeah, I could maybe deal with someone who cheated once and there was an external explanation (which was not likely to recur) and rhey did aome soul searching. But a serial cheater? That's not a mistake, that's a choice and a personality.

I know one guy like this, but they aren't married. He's related to DH otherwise I wouldn't choose to have contact with him. He's cheated on every partner he's ever had. Idk if he has cheated on his current live-in-GF but I wouldn't be surprised. She posts a lot on instagram, and it varies between "stay away from my man, I'll cut a b*", and "if he loved you he wouldn't stray", and lovey dovey pics of them or the flowers or new iphone he just bought her.

It just reminds me of that possum meme "dont touch my garbage!"
