It depends on where I am. Phoenix—go to the store and buy gallons of water, the tap water there is TERRIBLE. I’ll also only get iced tea at Starbucks in AZ because they filter their water. Breckenridge, tap is fine. If we travel by car we usually bring water to last a couple of days.

The only place this doesn't apply is Disney World where the water taste horrible. But the restaurants there give you free cups of ice water so I just go grab a couple (in summer they have them on the counter for people so you don't even need to ask) and fill a bottle from that.

Those ice machines are NEVER cleaned.

The sink. 90% if not 99% of tap water in the US is just fine.

As most people got judging by their answers, I'm trying to balance taste (prefer bottled) with environment and finances (tap would win). And I'm curious which way most people go. I travel a lot when you add up both work and personal travel (adds up to about 3-4 months every year).

We swing by a Target and buy a 24 pack for $2.99.

We usually just get water from the faucet to fill our water bottles. At hotels with a workout room, we fill up from the water in there.

Fiji or Poland Spring. I don't smoke, don't own a car, bring canvas bags everywhere, etc. Bottled water is my one big detriment to the environment.

We buy bottles everywhere. $10/day to stay hydrated is well worth it.

Do you buy bottled water the whole time? Fill up water bottles from the hotel faucet? Other ideas?
