Various Titles include CFO, CIT, COO, Chief of Schools, Chief of Staff, Chief Academic Officer, Chief Experience and Engagement Officer, Chief of Facilities and Cap Programs, CTO, Chief of Schools, Division Counsel, Numerous Asst. Superintendents, Exec. Director and that is just a list of Top Line Leadership. (see below for the salary breakdown). And per the pay scale below all of them make more than teachers.

People in executive leadership positions are paid more than those who are not in executive leadership positions. Something tells me the equity officer's job involves a lot of wind-mill jousting and a high degree of tongue-holding. Is this a job you aspire to?

Do you have an interest in equity initiatives? If not, then maybe that's not the job for you; maybe you are more Chief Experience and Engagement Officer type; if you were a cheerleader in HS, this sounds like something that might be up your alley. And no, I don't have the job description, but it does sound kind of fluff, and I am almost certain that, yes, you will be paid more than the PE teacher (who has a Ph.D. in PE with a master's in PR) but who also coaches the Cheer squad.

Do you know anything about leaky pipes? Then maybe Chief of Facilities is up your alley, and yes, you will be paid a lot more than the janitor or building engineer supervisor, some of whom may hold at least AS degrees in mechanical engineering or maintenance.

Teachers don't make as much as those in leadership positions, including those in internal and external leadership positions. Principles make more money than teachers. Assistant principals make more than teachers. Should teachers make more than principals?
