I'd drop the "dog child" term, unless you're with some super pet-lover. Sounds weird to me as a non-pet person.

I love to read also, but I don't think most men will care about that. I've never been with my buddies and anyone spoke highly of a woman for that reason.

Men . . . Barf!

This is exactly why I’ve stayed single all my life. I didn’t mind being appreciated for my petite but curvy in the right places body, or my pretty face, or my excellent blow jobs. At one point I didn’t even mind fawning and pretending I liked their sports or music or whatever.

But I couldn’t stand having my intelligence go unremarked on, or worse, being mansplained about things I knew 10x better than them.

Men are the universe’s joke on women.

You are doing men a favor. Thank you.

No, she has dark hair. An Asian woman wouldn't think her race makes her unattractive; she'd be batting away gross white guys.

I'm a man. You have no idea what is attractive to men. The way you describe yourself is really weird. It's completely divorced from what men think about or respond to. You have to start by paying more attention to the appearance of the women who are with the kind of men you would like to attract, and discard your preconceived notions about what features matter.

Your best bet is to go to the reddit groups that are related to the app you are using, or go to r/datingoverforty, post your "draft" profile verbiage and photos, and get feedback.

A generic question here won't be very helpful to you because other than "don't be fat" there is not much to say.

I would say that maybe you should diversify your dating pool and work on the self-hate.

Do you dress like a slob? I am amazed how many women think they look cute in leggings or joggers. Are you thick? You said petite - what does that mean to you?

You sound like a female version of me so I’d be very drawn to you, though I’m an extrovert. Where would I meet you? The homebody aspect sounds like the big impediment.

I don't think it is a matter of looks. There are two glaring things that stand out to me about why you're not attracting men. 1. You assume that it is because you're not white. I can pretty much guarantee you're putting out a vibe about this. 2. You're quiet and a homebody. If you're not putting yourself out there to be approached, it isn't going to happen.

I'm thick skinned so won't be offended. What can I do to be more attractive to you? I don't dye my hair and keep it a natural dark brown. I don't wear any glasses because I don't need them. I'm 40. I have no wrinkles and I'm petite. I'm not white so my likeability probably goes down with men. I have a good job and highly educated. Introvert. Since my dog child passed away I've been a homebody mostly. Love to travel and read and learn new things.
