I am sure cost is a factor as well. Certain clubs in this area (Dragon and Marlins) love travel meets but I know our club only does one travel meet and it is the senior group only.

Wow, that’s not many teams/athletes! I wonder if it’s not updated? Otherwise I assume it will be canceled if there is not more interest. I like the concept but it will be interesting whether or not it takes off.

Anyone’s club participating in this new meet? I just listened to a SwimSwam podcast with Ryan Lochte about it. It’s not on the schedule for our club but sounds really interesting. I think it would be great for US kids to get some experience with the international swimming scene and swimming in SCM.
