Worst advise ever. What happens when they wind up moving somewhere else? Unless you life WITH them, the vast majority of retirees cannot financially keep up with the costs of frequent moves.

I also know some who are running countries in their 80's but that doesn't mean that most seniors have more health issues and less money.

I can provide a safe and loving place where they can drop kids every day or whenever they are in a jam. I can financially subsidize them. Idk how much health and money I'll have at 70 to be of any help.

My in laws were youngish grandparents (early 50s).
They aren't running around with them at the playground or coaching their soccer teams or doing anything a 70 year old couldn't also do.

If we become grandparents, it won’t be until our 70’s either. I feel bad that I may not be able to help take care of grandkids, but that’s the problem with being an old parent. Hopefully one of my three gives me a grandkid!

Its more of a rant so just ignore and move on if it bothers you.
My grandma had her first grandchild at 40, mom at 50, I was hoping to have one by 60 but doesn't look like I'll have any before 70.
Obviously, timeline should work for the parents not grandparents and they may not even be in same state when they have kids but nonetheless it makes me sad that i'll not be an active and involved nana.
