I haven't seen a thread more recent than 2017.
Thanks pp, I'll check Ski Center. Anyone have a particular person they've dealt with that they'd recommend?
And, yes, looking for custom boot fitting.

This might not interest you, but High Mountain Sports in Deep Creek has a ski swap in mid-October. They will fit you into used boots there, and if there is nothing you like at the swap, you can buy new in the store right there.

We usually try to hit this sale for the kids (my skis/boots from college are still going strong, so I haven’t shopped for adults). They don’t allow older equipment (I think older than 5 years) to be sold at the sale, so you’re getting stuff with life still in it.

ski center ltd off shady grove road., a bunch of the guys form the ski center in spring valley started it so they had to add the ltd part to not get in trouble with the name but you need the right fit to enjoy skiing or you will be miserable.

I think what level skier you are matters. I don’t need custom fitted boots and am looking to purchase skiis and boots for $1000-1500. Sun and ski is great for people like me into intermediate skiers, and has several local stores.

Hannes strolz, but they are expensive and not local to DMV. They do travel though sometimes, so could ask. Their custom boots are molded to the shape of your foot and last 15+ years.

PS they charge for fitting if the boots were bought elsewhere. If you are buying new boots it’s included. The last 2 pairs we got there were custom molded.

Any place locally that you'd recommend for a ski boot fitting?
