If you have ever had a hand, arm or wrist injury or arthritis it’s not ick at all. It’s a lifesaver.
But you still have to move that pot to drain it. I have a pot filler and never use it. And I have a wrist injury currently.

You know that integrated panel-ready appliances are the opposite and dated and tacky right now, right? I'm not talking about your fridge that sticks out 6 inches and has fake wood panels glued to it. I'm talking about fridges that look like pantry cabinets.

Despite the hate, we really love our Viking fridge - 9 years and only an ice maker issue that cost like 200 bucks to fix. I’d also look at the Miele fridge if doing it all over again.
Miele, Blue Star, and Wolf for ranges/ovens.
Look at steam ovens too. I think Miele’s is best in class but there are a few of them now.
Dishwasher: Miele or high end Bosch
Vent Hood: Viking is solid for big and commercial look but vent-a-hood is good too.
If you want a decent deal on a single manufacturer package, look at thermador. But, they’re not the best in any one segment - so their value prop is best all around. Since most appliance makers are really only good at one or two items and have some real dogs for the others.

They're really nice to look at. They're not practical at all to cook with. If you want people to admire your kitchen, then buy them. If you actually cook, don't.
