OP, I was in a similar situation recently and gave $60/each to the two teachers with thank you cards. I really appreciated how much their temporary care helped my family, especially because I know temporary is more stressful for them.
OP here and this is exactly our situation. We are extremely thankful that she welcomed him in for two months AND that she happened to be fantastic. We would consider staying if she had a permanent opening and the commute was better. As a family we value generosity and gratitude and this is one of those times cash can really help make someone’s day.
The question was how much, not whether to give. I appreciate PP sharing their experience. My husband suggested $50 for the owner and $25 for the two assistants.
