Regular associates at big public universities make around $120-180k. No bonuses. Good benefits though (similar to feds).

There are great jobs but generally pretty hard to get. +1 for the Nacua recommendation as a resource if you do get it.

You have to strike a balance of caring enough to do your job and at the same time feeling no investment in the outcome because you won’t be able to influence it.

Hi! Anyone have such a position? Not the actual GC but one of the other attorneys / assistant GC. What is work life balance like? How hard is the learning curve if you’re coming from a setting other than an educational institution? Thanks!
