I just learned the joys of Costco today. My goodness, what good stuff for low prices.

When items we like are on sale, we buy them + freeze it. We only have one small freezer ( part of the fridge), and it is usually full. Everything is stored in freezer bags and marked with date we bought it. We save a ton. It works for us and really cuts down on our weekly bill. We do the same with pantry items. We are frugal/cheap multi- millionaires.

This. The businesses are trying to understand where the tipping point is. You are still shopping there, yes? Most grocery stores are cheaper than Whole Paycheck.

Cucumbers are .99 cents at Harris Teeter. You should start shopping somewhere else.

OP if you want to save money, look at weekly fliers online + track sale cycles for specific items. Eat less meat. Sign up for Safeway, Giant, CVS, Walgreens clubs, etc. Make as much as you can yourself. Prices are not coming down any time soon. Gas prices are going up and workers are demanding fairer pay. Climate change is destroying crops.
