Uche is abusive. His gaslighting and grilling was really chilling.

Lydia - her heart is in the right place.
PJ - earnest - this one could work
Stacy - lacks depth
Milton - not as mature as he wants to think he is
Johnnie - desperately wants to be a pulled together person but isn't and lies when she panics
Uche - doubt he's good at compromise, but sounds rich
Chris - seems wholesome and sweet
Aaliyah - also seems wholesome and sweet, think she is smarter than she comes across
Izzy - does nothing for me

There’s only three engaged couples this season

My thoughts after the first set of episdoes (spoilers)!




- Lydia seemed ok at first but yes, the "We're the same person" to Aaliyah and way TMI; the fact that she has been "all in" with Uche, Izzy, now Milton...flags for sure.
- Milton: How many times did he bring up his microscope? Seems like he might be on the spectrum. I like him though!
- Izzy: Not as charismatic as he thinks he is?
- Uche: Definitely some rigidity, black and white thinking, and control issues
- Johnie: Flip-flopping but I can see how that can happen when you're intensely dating several people at once. I thought that if Chris was willing to take a chance, it might have worked out. I could see them together. I was surprised her baggage scared off Izzy so easily.
- Stacey: Some Jackie/Raven vibes in terms of not being introspective at all.
- Taylor: She reminds me so much of Micah from LIB 4!
- PJ: Seems pretty earnest; firefighter/teacher seems like a good match at first on paper
- Chris: Seems like a normal guy though I'm not sure if giant games of Celebrity with his relatives is a selling point

Lydia is a nutcase!
Her emphasizing how much her and Aaliyah "are the same woman" gives me major deadly stalker vibes.
I don't particularly love any of the couples right now, but I am enjoying the entertainment value. I just hope that this experience isn't traumatizing for Milton considering how young he is. Though I have no idea why they would cast anyone under 27.

The only ones I like now are Chris, Milton, and Stacy.

I’m with PP about the Texas cast, not good. At first saw some potential, now not feeling any of the matches.

Ahhh, nice to be here with you all again. I've decided I kind of hate the Texas casts.

I initially though I liked Johnie, she seemed in touch with herself, and I thought Izzy was making a huge mistake choosing Stacy, but as soon as she backtracked to Chris, I changed my mind, and realized how lost she was. I imagine being on the show is really intense, and we have seen other cast members run to second choices as I'm sure there is a lot of momentum to get engaged, but I really respect Chris for not having to the pressure to get engaged (hundreds of thousands of potential social media sponsorships down the drain) knowing he was her second choice.

Stacy does seem that she lacks the depth. Not sure about the firefighter/teacher couple.

I was pretty turned off by Uche's reaction to Aaliyah opening up about her past infidelity. Seemed like a bit of a red flag to me. I have a feeling he might become controlling. Lydia seems like a total mess who absolutely into Uche, and Milton clearly isn't ready to be engaged. I feel bad for Milton and Aaliyah.

Started watching this morning. The ones I liked at first don't seem to be the ones that are working out.

"I don't like his teeth"? Ouch. Teeth can be fixed.

I liked this group at first but now am thinking they might be a fairly superficial crew, especially the women.

Lydia is annoying and Johnie has major issues.

Had terrible insomnia so started watching in the middle of the night. Good cast, look forward to discussing once others have watched. In the middle of ep 2 and already feeling some of the matches.
