I don't mind paying more than face value, but 5x's more stings. Is it better to wait until one week before for example? I went to a much anticipated concert last night, it was a surprise for DH. I purchased the tickets in May, I knew I was paying a lot more than face value but didn't know how much until the tickets were released to me two days ago. OUCH!
I have heard of people buying tickets at a venue from stubhub right before a show. My anxiety won't allow for this approach.
Same. So I guess I need to buy on day of release, as another PP said. You'd think buying tickets in May for a concert at the end of September would be way far in advance but I guess not. I've seen so many concerts, one would think I'd have it down by now![]()
