Funny reminds me of the first time now DH invited me to his place for dinner. He was making a shrimp dish.

He was just getting everything started on the stove, I walked up behind him whispered in his, “ I need to be honest with you, I hate shrimp.” I reached down turned the burners off, grabbed his hand and lead him to the bedroom.

That was 17 years ago and I still remember every detail of that night like it was yesterday.

And the perfect date is April 25th bc it's not too hot and not too cold, so all you need is a light sweater, right?

I have never cooked dinner for a man I was dating until we were in a relationship but a few men have cooked for me on date 2 or 3.

Well, I'm married but when I was young I always did this early on. If I were interested in a guy and asked him out, or if he'd taken me out and I wanted to then reciprocate, I would make him dinner; it was mainly because I didn't have enough money to go out. And it was nice and casual. I never had an issue with men expecting sex because we were eating dinner at my house.

This sounds about right. But honestly think some women could think 3-4 dates is too early.

What would you say is the right amount of time before it would make sense / be OK to invite someone you’re dating over for cooking dinner together at your place?
