+1 his office is pretty responsive, especially for escalating passport issues if you ever need them for that kind of thing.

He's all about growing government. IOW - he is a Democrat.

He does nothing. He's just a seat warmer.

Not a dem but he seems like a quiet professional to me. A lot of politicians on both sides could take a lesson from him.

Helps out quite a bit with federal pension issues and red tape for his constituents. We’ve reached out to him a few times and his office quickly responds and helps resolve issues, I was very surprised!

Are you from the area? He's very well known in his district. He comes to civic events, he sends out a newsletter, there's a bike trail named after him. He frequently introduces legislation to support Feds.

He is also a proponent of federal workers, welcome among the omnipresent disdain for them from so many in Congress and outside of it.

You know, I’m ok with politicians who stay out of the news, don’t need to make a big name for themselves, vote for policies I support, and otherwise stay out of the limelight. I actually wish we had more of them.

Nothing, same when he held lower offices in VA.

He might be the most worthless member of the VA delegation along with the most unknown - even Jennifer McClellan and Kagans are more well know. What exactly does he bring to the area? He seems so queit.
