I didn't quite like the Maggie/Negan spinoff as much, though it got better toward the end. I think it was greenlighted for second season? And I will watch. I love the Maggie and Negan characters a lot. But, their chemistry just isn't quite there and I was tired of hearing about their backstory with Glen's death. (And FTR, Glen was my FAVE character ever and that scene was devastating). But, I feel like Maggie either needs to move on or just kill him. Because her constant . . . . fixating on him and that is tiresome. It's a #$%#$ apocalypse. And Negan was only the bad guy from the perspective of our Alexandria fan faves.
I hope they move on to the Maggie and Negan characters that we love and remove the "relationship" between them.
I totally agree with all of this! Maggie constantly seething with rage about Negan is beyond old. I hope she is able to get past it and move on at this point. (Though I also agree that Negan killing Glen was horrific and one of the hardest scenes I've ever watched.)
I think both Negan and Maggie have a lot in common - they're tough survivors and do what needs to be done. I'd like to explore their relationship more.
