I would be surprised if they do that and if they do Gunston parents should be pissed. They've been overcrowded for a while as Williamsburg sits very unfull.
And furthermore, these changes they are supposed to vote on in December won't even go into effect until 2025. So if they kick the can down the road it's many years until there is any relief.

No I think even more students would need to be moved. Because even more Gunston kids would need to push north.
I know nobody really cares, but this is why it's more important to move the immersion program. Just shuffling the boundaries northward will take away the wealthier neighborhoods from TJ and further exacerbate the economic divide.
People are just throwing anything at the wall that will mean their kid isn't affected at all, which is clearly this bizarro campaign to put immersion at WMS.

I thought yesterday/15th was the deadline for public comments, not that they were putting out a new proposal.

Correct. This is what the early report says. The only way that they don’t move middle
school boundaries this year is if they just punt to next year. Which of course is a real option with APS.
