I work for an international corporation. The nanny works for one family. When my boss is on vacation I keep working. When I take my kids on vacation, unless we're paying the nanny to come with us, they are not working. Also, we just ask them to do this for one third of their vacation days, not all. They agreed to it. They could have negotiated.
