We used to live in Ashburn Village and really liked it. Didn’t have kids at the time, so can’t speak to schools, but the community itself was good. Great sports pavilion and amenities for a fairly low HOA fee.

Ashburn Village is one of the original Ashburn neighborhoods. It’s a great place to raise a family. They have lots of walking trails, several lakes, a bunch of pools and a sports pavilion with a gym and indoor pool. The schools are good but not the best in Ashburn. Broad Run is the high school and it’s the oldest Ashburn high school. Stone Bridge (Ashburn Farm) and Briar Woods (Brambleton) have better reputations but Broad Run is still a good, solid school and I don’t think it’s as competitive for sports as the others. Brambleton is a newer, much larger neighborhood (I’m not personally a fan but people who live there seem to like it).

We are considering a move to Ashburn and this community looks like it could be a good option for our family. Does anyone live here and can share your experience? How is the community in general but also interested in if it is super competitive in regards to school and sports. Thanks!
