I wish I had known this. First year at MCPS doing this testing (kid in 2nd). I’m super curious though as he came home asking about what the box division symbol was (he knows some division but we’ve not gone over that symbol) and I was surprised as I don’t think that’s 2nd grade math. I asked him if he saw the score and he said he didn’t remember but it started with a 2.

That means the score was 200-something.
That means he probably did very well! Tests are adaptive, so if they do well, they get harder and harder questions, even outside their grade level. Test is also the same for several grades in a row (but percentiled by grade level.)
