I think we are going to hold off on the vasectomy, just in case. I know 8 seems like a good number, but I’ve seen stranger things happen in the infertility community. As far as getting an IUD, honestly, I’m absolutely terrified of the thought of them. I’ve heard such horror stories.

+1 I wouldn’t feel comfortable with that until we’d had the second child we knew we wanted. Are your embryos tested?
No, they are not tested. My RE didn’t think it was necessary due to my age at egg retrieval (30) and diagnosis (PCOS). I feel pretty confident with 8 blasts, but I would definitely feel even better if they were tested. I think we will probably hold off on the vasectomy, just in case.
