What was the schedule like? How many hours per day, how many days per week, how many weeks?
Anonymous wrote:It depends on your kid. I have one who does all their homework during class, school comes easy to them (including AP classes). The other procrastinates, whines about the amount of work and ends up taking twice as long to do anything. School is harder for them, but they bring it on themself

Anonymous wrote:My kid did Health A in the evenings last spring. She went into it expecting that she might need to do ~1 hour/day of homework (5-7 hours/week) for it and that was a reasonable expectation. Some weeks were less, some were more. Some of the weekly seminars ended early, so that gave extra time. There were usually 2-4 assignments and 1-4 quizzes assigned each M, T, and Th, with the seminar on W and everything due on Friday. Late assignments weren't accepted, so it required some time management and planning, especially given a couple of field trips and overnight trips to work around (but it's possible to work ahead, which my kid did on weekends before busy weeks). It was a lot of work but doable and my kid is glad to have done it; thinking about signing up for Health B this spring.
