I thought the pushback against 2 weeks before Labor Day was successful. Isn't the start 1 week before?

Yes there is. There is no longer a process to create a new calendar every year that changes start dates, etc. They created a CALENDAR POLICY that dictates the parameters for start/end dates and which dates will off each year.

This policy was established 3 weeks ago! Are you being difficult on purpose? We all know the start date for next year. Plan your vacation accordingly.
WTF is wrong with you? I was pointing out that they still need to develop the calendar. PP was saying "There is no longer a process to create a new calendar every year" which is false. -not OP
It not false- the old process included "voting"/feedback on when start dates, breaks and days off would be. That is no longer the case as there is a policy. Yes they will publish a "new" physical calendar each year that shows all of this, but there is no longer a whole process where we're guessing every year.
