I think of RTR as "working out on a reformer." Which is fine, as long as that's what you're looking for.

For beginners, and if you really want to learn Pilates, go to a studio that has all of the apparatuses, with instructors who are comprehensively trained.

I liked Club Pilates, but it was impossible to find a class that had an opening that fit my schedule. Based on how they did their sign-up, I would always miss out on a week or two of classes because they filed up before I could sign up. Club Pilates is good for someone who has a flexible schedule!
