Thank you, that's great to know. Was this recently? I heard there were boundary changes. Wondering if that might have affected the level of challenge at Thoreau in the meantime or if it's irrelevant.

Why did your second choose Thoreau at first?


My second chose Thoreau 100% for social reasons. Knew LJ's program was academically superior but the social stuff mattered more to him. The Algebra situation was the primary reason for switching. Also, older had finished two years of HS and urged him to switch to LJ.

Franklin's program is outstanding. The seventh grade team is especially incredible. They do several cross curricular projects that seem interesting not only to the kids but to their parents too! They are also extremely good at understanding the needs of those kids.

We couldn't have been happier with the program. We sent our kids through both a center program and a LLIV program (different kids obviously) and were most impressed with Franklin's program.
