My obese cousin just went through bad breakup. She asked me to come help her, pack her up, provide comfort. She's also asked me to help her start exercising and eating better.
Her relationship was toxic and dysfunctional and I think physical exercise will help her process a lot of these emotions. She's also starting therapy next week.
She'll be crashing with me for a while, so my question is: what should I do to help? What food should I make, exercises to do? We have a gym at home and walking trails nearby. I know she has a lot of emotional work ahead of her with no quick fixes, but I'm wondering how I can help encourage her now, especially since she's asked for help and support. Right now I'm thinking daily walks, providing a listening ear, and making meals with protein + veggies.
Any other ideas?
