Subject: What do you think of this school profile (AP info)
It's one of the highest performing schools in the country. It's comparable to Wootton (which is almost twice is big, with 2.5x as many AP Scholars with Distinction)

Oh thanks for sharing. It's bigger than my high school so I didn't think it was that small.
It might be a larger than that. That was an estimate. I don't think it's more than 1400.
I haven't heard of students being shut out of classes, but I will ask folks.
I also wish this discussion had stayed in the college forum, because I'm primarily concerned with how colleges will regard it, and parents going through that would be the best to comment. Hopefully there will be some good responses here too. I thank anyone who has insight.

Is it 9-12? At 1200 students, it's very small. It won't be able to offer a large number of classes and scheduling will be an issue.

My kids are young, but this is a local high school they could potentially attend.
I have no idea if the following is good/impressive, or the kind of stats that don't mean much. I realize this is not an actual "school profile." Just a little blurb from their website, I assume this data recently came out. What do you think?
2022-2023
~1200 students in the school
98% graduation rate
160 AP Scholars
51 of which got the AP Scholar with Distinction Award
21 of which got the AP Scholar with Honor Award
31 got the AP Capstone Diploma
17 students got AP Seminar and Research Certificate
offers 25 AP courses
This is a school that the neighboring fancy (richer) schools scoff at and like to look down on. Maybe I'm out of my depth, but this doesn't seem so bad? And the many AP courses tells me that if you are a motivated student, at least you have the opportunity to take a rigorous curriculum? Do you have an idea of how colleges would regard this school? Appreciate any thoughts. No hate please, I realize I know nothing.
