Pasta with broccoli and garlic (I don't actually use this recipe, or any recipe, but just in case it would help your kids)

This is a great vegetarian chili. I add chopped bell peppers.

Cheap too!!

You can use any pasta. I prefer it without the rosemary oil.

This is one of my all time favorites. Skip the meat and add shelled edamame for extra protein. You just need to boil noodles and mix a dressing—buy packaged slaw mix and you don’t even need to chop veggies. I do double dressing to make it more of a noodle dish than a salad.

Baked ziti, baby! The hardest part is getting the proportions of the sauce correct, but you'll figure out what you like. Add salad and garlic bread, and it's a hearty meal sure to please all.

I’ve decided to start cooking a few meals a week. I’m looking for suggestions for meals teenagers might enjoy, that don’t involve meat, and that a person with a brain but little kitchen experience can successfully prepare. TIA!
