Barn Hill Animal Preserve is awesome! They are completely free; they make their money by offering kids the chance to take a photo with one of a selection of animas for 10$. When they came to my school, kids could pick from a baby kangaroo, bearded dragon, or sulcata tortoise. They talk about the animals, some of the preservation efforts they're working on, animal habitats/adaptations, and it was a lot of fun.

Pandas Karate does an anti-bullying one. The guy was really personable and had a good rapport with the kids. Years ago we had Step Afrika and they were incredible.

Do NOT get the "free"
Yo-yo assembly. It's a complete scam.

Hi,
I'm looking for assembly ideas for our elementary school, and am curious to hear from parents, teachers, and others what the most memorable / best assemblies featuring outside speakers or performances have been at your elementary schools over the years.
