Dan Carlin's "Hardcore History" is the best.

I like British Scandal and, to a lesser extent American Scandal. It's short series (3-5 episodes) on things that happened in recent-ish history. The hosts on British are better than the guy who does American, but both have interesting topics.

I recently discovered The Rest is History and I love it. It's history without being boring and I learn a lot in each episode.
I also like Stuff You Should Know and You Must Remember This (Hollywood/films history)

Folks on here recommended BBC Uncanny and I moved on to How to Invent a Country which is good history.

Where can I find "The Rest is History"? Is it older stuff which I like or more modern/american?

Serious Trouble is about legal events in the news.

Beyond the Breakers is about shipwrecks.

Garden Plots with Skeletor has a small lesson about houseplants amid the silliness, but I thought of it because Skeletor's vocabulary is excellent.

Brene Brown "Atlas of the Heart" -- I feel like I'm in a course listening to it, but it's enjoyable.

This Podcast Will Kill You, This Week In Virology, The Puscast are all great for learning about health sciences

The Memory Palace and This Day in Esoteric Political History are good for American History

The Emily Show is legal commentary on pop culture cases so it kind of overlaps with pop culture and true crime but I find it extremely informative

I’m tired of listening to podcasts about pop culture, true crime, and the host’s opinions. I want to listen to interesting yet very educational stuff. Something to improve my vocabulary which I think has dwindled in the last few years. TIA!
