But I agree that CVS is terrible. The pharmacists and pharmacy techs are really unhelpful and some are just flat out unintelligent. I was there recently and overheard one of the techs having a loud conversation on a speaker phone about another customer's prescription--said the customer's name, date of birth, the medication they were getting. There were about 4 of us standing in line at the time. Unbelievable.
My CVS requires me to say this when I go up to the counter.
There's a difference between quietly providing your information when you get to the counter and the pharmacist saying the info into a phone loud enough for the entire pharmacy area to hear when the customer wasn't even present. I was third in line, so at least 20 feet away from the counter, and I could hear everything. There is no justifiable reason for disclosing a customer's private health information like that.
