I did. I'm not a woo-woo parent at all, but their little brains are sponges and their ears work as well as their eyes. TV is a a very heavy, very intense aural stimulus.
I watched TV, but on mute and read subtitles.

Oh girl, this must be your first child. I had a whole list of shows and movies I was going to watch on my mat leave. Guess how many I watched.

I did finally get through one during an evening after I went back to work (6+ months later.) pride and prejudice. 2004 version
