What kind of food do they like? Shouldn’t that dictate the restaurant?

Peacock Cafe. It’s next to Cafe Milano so good people watching!

Chaia Tacos for something delicious but more casual

Fitzgerald’s or Tombs instead of Clyde’s. All are same restaurant group but Clyde’s is where my grandparents would go!

Why do people always recommend this for teens. Being a teen doesn’t dictate that you have to eat crappy food with a cheesy (pun intended) theme.

Place is awful.

Bread and cheese and then dessert/fruit dipped in chocolate may be crappy to you but brings us joy. It’s pricey though which is why we only go for special occasions. It’s fun for kids/tweens/teens, something different.

Cook on the table Japanese like Sakura or Benihana!

Clyde’s is the worst restaurant!

I think Clyde's is good.

There's the Tiny Words Project store. You could get them matching bracelets.

They're in 8th grade, not 8 years old. Clyde's is still probably a good choice.

OP, what does your daughter like; what's her favorite food/type of food?

Guapos on the water front would be fun for that age

Want to take my 8th grade daughter and 4 of her friends out for an afternoon of shopping and walking around Georgetown and then onto a birthday dinner in late September. Wondering what restaurants in DC would best appeal to a group of thirteen year old girls? They are a fun, sporty crew, low drama. Thanks for any recommendations!
