Her entire family is on YouTube. Her sister Ellie runs the popular Ellie and Jared channel and her other sister runs the popular Bonnie Hoellein channel. Her parents have their own channel etc. The entire family sticks cameras in the children and grandchildren’s faces and are millionaires from it and there is definitely supposed to be a wholesome Christian/Mormon vibe to it all and they all do have some odd punishments. I believe one of the other sisters cut up her daughters favorite doll and made her cry all because she was biting her nails.

According to my relatives who live in Springville & who attend where they used to go, Ruby and the children stopped attending in 2022 after she and Kevin went viral for fighting the school system over the use of the song Low by Flo Rida (I think it was that song) in a class performance.

Ruby, due to her brainwashing and conditioning in the connexions cult, began to view the LDS teachings as not strict or truthful enough. Everything in connexions is based on Truth and Distortion. Those at their temple were living in Distortion and not living in The Truth.

Ruby also pulled the kids from school and began homeschooling them again. They had been homeschooled off and on over the years. They used to attend a private school in the area but after their oldest graduated (and the 2nd oldest was kicked out), the younger 4 stopped attending. Julie & Abby, the next oldest kids, were enrolled in public school. Then the whole song debacle went down and Julie was pulled from public school for homeschooling. All the kids were homeschooled this year.

The only kids who have been seen publicly are Abby and Julie. Abby because she works as a lifeguard at a Y facility and Julie while working as well. Russell and Eve, the two youngest, haven't been seen in months. Now it makes sense why: they were tied up in psycho Jodi's house.

They haven't had a YouTube channel in years. Not since Ruby joined up with Jodi in the Connexions cult and focused on Truth and Distortion.

Ruby deleted their YouTube channel in 2022.

This is a tale as old as time: a strong personality found a weak personality. That's how all cult leaders operate.

Jodi Hildebrandt had already had her license suspended in UT years ago for shady practices. She allowed a non-licensed mentee to counsel patients in an official capacity. She also took information given to her by a patient and relayed that information against his wishes to the elders in his temple. According to him, she also made up lies about him to the elders when he tried to cease their professional relationship.

The whole suspension is well documented if you Google it.

Look up some of the Connexions videos. They are INSANE. Their parenting philosophies ARE abusive and people on social media have been reporting them since 2020 but nothing happened.

Mormons are strongly encouraged to document their lives- journaling, taking photos, videos, etc. And family history is very important in their religion, so this can be seen as leaving a record for future generations. Finally, it is a "missionary" religion so many Mormons see having blogs, vlogs, etc. that portray happy and wholesome, envious family life as a way to 'spread the faith' and get people interested in the religion.

Their oldest daughter has a very damning Instagram post. She is also has a link to a Google doc that is collecting other instances of abuse. Some of it is inside of Mormon churches it’s awful.

This is the YouTube mom who was investigated a few years ago for admitting on camera that she made her son sleep on a beanbag chair for months because he lost the privilege of having a bed. Among other transgressions- sending said son to wilderness camp, invading her 6 kids privacy for YT clicks, etc. Her channel was, at one time, insanely popular and this was very controversial.

With very few exceptions I think YouTube family vloggers are scummy, but this one in particular got caught up in a nasty cult and it apparently culminated in one of her children climbing out of a window to get help. The children were malnourished and the escapee had duct tape on her ankles. Arrests have been made and CPS is (obviously) involved.
