OP here. I actually hated the Soma vanishing edge ones the most. It felt like there was glue/tape on my cheeks. Maybe it's something you get used to but I didn't even last an entire day in them.

The creep also drives me crazy, but I can't imagine going commando under most of my clothes, especially jeans! No thank you, I want the barrier between my lady parts and everything else.

The one kind I've found that work fairly well are boy short underwear. I got a few pairs at Aerie last winter that I like, though they are not really summer weight (they are like a herringbone knit, which sounds ridiculous but is actually really soft and comfy). The nice thing about boy shorts is they truly do not creep up.

I also think I just have to replace my underwear more often because like you, I find they start to stretch out and get loose after not that long, and then even if they didn't used to creep up, they do.

I posted over the summer asking for underwear recs. I wanted really tight elastic around the leg holes so it would cover my cheeks and not move. I also want something breathable. I bought every type of underwear that was recommended. I liked aspects of some of them but not all of them. I'm tempted to just go commando. Anyone do that? I'm 5'3" and around 123 pounds. What breathable underwear do you love (I usually wear a small/size 5) in the Hanes, Fruit of the Loom, etc? They used to fit the bill but the elastic is so loose now around the legs. I usually wear high waisted (just under your belly button) underwear. Thanks!
