It is absolutely an FCPS school. It is operated expressly and exclusively by FCPS.

I notice these lists are always dominated by magnet and charter schools, two BASIS schools are on the top of the list, as well as various other stem and technology schools.

it's not fair to compare a school of 200 students with TJ with 2000 students. TJ has more students than the top 4 high schools put together.

Looking at Virginia ranking, the #2 and #3 from Richmond each have 200 students, while all the NOVA schools have at least 2000, excluding George Mason out of Falls Church.
